Just installed Apple TV+ on Fire Stick. All looked fine and sound was OK on the trailers but nothing on the actual episodes. Tried uninstalling app, rebooting everything, but no dice.
Any suggestions?

What is your audio setup? Do you use the TV’s built-in speakers, or something else?
Does that audio setup match the audio settings on Fire TV? E.g. Stereo 2.0, Surround sound 5.1, Dolby Atmos.
Try simplifying the audio format; does that bring sound then?

Again, thanks for the advice. I followed through on my proposed solution and bought an LG OLED C34 and everything works absolutely fine on that, so problem solved. I did check the age of the outgoing Sony KDL, and found it was 14 years old, so maybe that might have been the problem :-)

thanks for the advice. I have checked the sound settings, and tried it with and without the sound bar. What is confounding is that the sound works fine on the trailers but nothing for the episodes.
I'll re-check the settings later, but right now I'm considering buying a new TV to see if that helps.
