Does switching phone carriers affect my Family Sharing plan?

Hi all,

I am currently included in Apple Family Sharing with one of my parent's plans.

Due to several practical reasons, I am currently considering switching phone carriers.

If I am on a different phone line, can I still be part of the same Apple Family? Does that affect anything at all? I didn't see the carrier mentioned on the Family Sharing website, so it looks like I can, but I want to double check.
