Will the Apple pencil (PRO) 2024 over charged if I left it on the ipad 24/7?

So I just bought an Ipad with the new apple pencil pro 2024 today and Im not sure whether to keep it on the ipad 24/7. I see a lot of reviews regarding battery life of ipad has gone down when they kept the apple pencil way too long, this is 2nd generation pencil reviews. I dont even know which generation my apple pencil pro is, as it doesn't say even if i search its’ serial number.

help anyone? Would it be okay to keep the apple pencil pro on the ipad without hurting both device’s battery life? No bash please. Genuinely asking, im a new apple user. :)

No, it will not overcharge. Like all Apple devices, once it reaches 100%, it stops charging, drains a little and then charges up again.

The greater danger with the Pencil, because it has such a small battery, is that, if you don't keep it charged, it will lose all charge and then sit that way. That's a sure way to damage the battery.
