FCP Connected clips not working on 1080p project with 360 video
I export 360 from Insta360 Studio.
Place the clip in a 1080p project in FCP.
Place some various types of pix/clips on top as connected.
When I scrub through, sometimes the connected clips show, but usually not.
When I let the playhead run through, sometimes they show.
I've noticed especially after I put a connected title or something on top of them, then they don't show.
Same results when I share the project.
I export a REFRAMED version of same video from Insta360 Studio.
Place in same project.
Place same pix/clips on top as connected.
They show during scrubbing and playing and share.
Ive been messing with this for a few hours now. Trying different types of exports of 360 video and trying different types of connected clips. PNG, TIFF, JEPG, JPG, MOV, MP4, etc. Results vary.
Trying to summarize here as succinctly as possible.

I did:
- RESET FCP preferences
- Copy same stuff to other projects.
- All updates on mac
- FCP updates.
