I have a Macbook Air M1, Ventura, and would like to buy a reliable docking station around $50 that includes ports for at least two USB-A gen 2 and 3, HDMI, an SD card, and a mini SD card. Any suggestions? Thank you!

I bought a OWC USB-C Travel Dock E for one of my Macs. (A 12" Retina MacBook that has a USB-C port but that does not have Thunderbolt.). There's a version without the Ethernet port that's $10 cheaper.

If you look on Amazon, there are any number of USB-C docks that have the features you list for about the price you mention – or less. Many of them have more ports than the OWC docks, but are less compact.
I don't have any particular recommendations, but I did find this WireCutter article from the New York Times.
