I recommend taking your device directly to an Apple Store where you will get an immediate value. Some users have reported that after trading it in online the value was dropped after inspection and they were not happy with the revised value. You can request the device sent back to you, but I think it is better to avoid the hassle altogether and just take it to the Apple Store.
