Icloud windows 11 version 15.2.157.0 stopped syncing photos August 13, 2024

My cloud photo's just stopped syncing earlier in the month. Wondering if this is a known issue with versions and I should be requesting an update from my managed service provider ?

I ended up hitting the Repair option on the APP in the Windows Programs and Features option and I turned off Zscaler so now trying to eliminate the 2 as photo's have synced for the 1st time since Aug 13.

Any advice on how to avoid this issue appreciated.

iCloud photos sync stuck on Windows 11 I've had an issue for a while with iCloud photos, the sync works for about 50 or so photos and then stops and never syncs anymore. Restarting icloud in the app then gets stuck on initialising (and doesn't sync newer photos), restarting the windows service the same. If I delete the whole thing and start again it'll sync the newest but get stuck around the same point (maybe a few photos more - the newer ones - but stuck at the same point in the past). It's as if at a point in time/photo it freezes (tried deleting the first photo where it gets stuck but nothing), so it always sync's the latest photos but stops.

Photos app on M1 MBA Running Sonoma Will Not Sync With iCloud My M1 MBA running Sonoma stopped syncing Photos with iCloud on November 22nd. I have read the suggestions in this Apple document: If Your iCloud Photos are not Syncing.... I tried everything suggested, but nothing works. The status bar at the bottom of Photos says: Syncing with iCloud… But it never does and never displays a reason as to why not.. The numbers of photos shown never changes and photos taken since November 22nd never appear. I have connected the MBA to power and just left it for many hours; still no syncing. I have tried quitting the Photos app and have rebooted the MBA several times. Syncing is working fine on my iPad, iPhone and Intel iMac. Any ideas?

Syncing photos with iCloud slow Previous thread closed. M3 Max MB Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max, photo synch has become unbearable the last several months. Both devices fully updated to latest OSs. This slowness affects all devices. Previous thread suggested killing the bird process might help. Tried that and no luck. Coincidentally, or maybe not, I went over 100k photos recently, though I have 2 TB iCloud and it's only ~ ½ full. HELP! Synching seems ALWAYS paused for "system performance". Well, my devices are restarted regularly, powered up almost always, and usually updated the day patches/updates are released. How much "system performance" pausing of iCloud synch is required, seriously? Oh, and being able to see a list of items yet to be synched would be very useful.
