Thought-provoking question about the iPhone leather case

Hello. I'm a bit obsessed and a bit of a neat freak. I bought the original leather case from Apple's authorized dealer, but when I came home and opened it, the box felt strange, as if it had been opened before. When I looked at the case, I'm not sure if it was obvious on the leather, but it seemed like there were cracks and dimples due to use. Again, the place where I bought the product is a store and Apple's authorized dealer. Do you think this case has been used? Or are these marks normal because it is leather? I am waiting for your support.
