I am unable to delete an app from my MacBook Pro with the error 'App is open so will not move it to the bin'

I am trying to remove the Shottr app from my MacBook Pro, however it keeps telling me that the App is open so will not move it to the bin. As far as I'm aware the app is not open. Can someone please help? Thanks.

Restart in safe mode, where third-party add-ons are generally not loaded automatically. You may need to literally drag it to the bin now, then a Restart will finish disengaging it from MacOS, then the bin can be emptied AFTER.
