apple watch series 7 randomly locked out for 8 hrs
my apple watch has not been used for a while and i put it on the charger to reset it and now its locked out for 8 hrs

If you are locked out of your Apple Watch, you will need to erase all content and setting, then load from a backup.
Press and hold the side button until you see the power button. Press and hold the Digital Crown until you see Erase all content and settings. Tap Reset, and confirm. Then you can set up your Apple Watch again from a backup, and set a new passcode.
