I would like to add some stocks to the stock app to follow. Wanted to know if anyone does this in the community or is it unsafe considering all the hacking I read about being done on phones including Apple. No one is safe anymore. Thanks

Yes it is safe. I use it to track many of my stocks and it does not contain any account information. Phishing messages/emails are always common and should be ignored, but I have never received any phishing message related to any of the stocks that I track in the app.

Why would it be unsafe? You can add any number of stocks to track. Your iDevices are not going to be hacked.
Thank you for your comment. I get so many text and email spams I was not sure if that app was secure even though I am not making any financial transactions from that app or using my phone.
