Getting text messages (sms) from iCloud to Android phone or Windows PC

Is there any way to retrieve text messages from iCloud to an Android phone (Samsung s24 to be exact) or to a Windows PC and then transfer them to Samsung s24?

The reason is that my iPhone 11 Pro started to act up and I got a good price on a Samsung so I took the plunge and rather to be safe than sorry I switched from Apple to Android.

To my horror I found out that the text messages (sms both iMessages and regular) from my late mother and my wife didn't transfer.

The iPhone isn't available anymore and my iCloud account ends on September 1st and I really need to get those messages back and I haven't found any reliable sources if such a transfer is possible.

Is there ANY way to get those messages back, either to my Windows PC for safekeeping or directly to my Samsung s24?
