Carplay is suddenly not working

I have been using Carplay in my Subaru Outback 2023 for a year, and in the past few weeks it does not work. I unpaired my phone and then paired it, but did not have any success.

CarPlay not working CarPlay not working. I’ve been using wireless CarPlay in the same vehicle for over 2 years with an iPhone 15. I switched to an iPhone 17 iOS 26.1 and it will not stay connected. I’ve tried many options I’ve discovered online but nothing has resolved the issue.
