Using old phone for camera only

I'd like to use an iPhone8 to take photos. How do I set it up so that it does not connect with my current iPhone 13.

To use your iPhone 8 solely as a camera without it connecting to your current iPhone 13, follow these steps:

1. Turn Off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth:

• Go to Settings > Wi-Fi and toggle it off.

• Go to Settings > Bluetooth and toggle it off.

2. Disable Cellular Data:

• Go to Settings > Cellular and toggle off Cellular Data.

3. Sign Out of iCloud and Other Accounts:

• Go to Settings > [your name] > Sign Out. You may need to enter your Apple ID password.

• If you have other accounts or apps connected, sign out of those as well.

4. Turn Off Automatic Updates and Notifications:

• Go to Settings > Notifications and manage which notifications you want to allow or disable.

• Go to Settings > General > Software Update and disable automatic updates.

5. Ensure No Personal Data is Stored:

• If you want to ensure no personal data is on the phone, consider resetting the phone to factory settings: Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings.

With these settings, your iPhone 8 should function independently as a camera without connecting to your other devices.
