iCloud Passwords App on Windows PC

I am using iCloud for Windows. Everything in the iCloud app works perfectly except for the passwords feature.

The chrome extension works well -- it allows me to autofill passwords that are already saved, so it is definitely working in the background.

However, when I open the iCloud passwords app itself on Windows, it asks me log in using Windows Hello (pin/face ID/fingerprint). Once I log in (using any of the methods), it loads for a few seconds (as shown in the image), then crashes and closes the app.

I have tried deleting iCloud from my computer completely & reinstalling everything completely, which did not work. I have confirmed that it is updated to the latest version. Nothing I have done have fixed this bug. It is really annoying, as even though I can autofill passwords, I cannot search for passwords or add new passwords. How can I fix this?

Hi, I found the solution with a lot of research!
try
menu start-settings-application-icloud (after clicking on icloud) 
- specify the options - at the bottom is the menu "reset - repair" (1 option data will be preserved

Hello,

Unfortunately neither the repair or the reset button worked. The Passwords app continues to load for a few seconds and then crash.

I'm also experiencing very similar behavior, after the app has been updated recently with support for shared passwords. After the update has been installed application crashes for me, if I start entering any text for password search, while the app is still showing the "Waiting for passwords...". If I patiently wait for passwords to show up, everything works just fine. Before the update it used to allow me to enter search text even before the passwords would show up.

Unfortunately, there is no way to report such glitches to Apple.
