CarPlay & Google Maps (Motorcycle Mode)

In Southeast Asia, the Motorcycle routes provided by Google Maps are a must have when riding. However if you sync with a CarPlay enabled unit while riding, CarPlay won't allow the chosen Motorcycle route to be used and automatically reverts to the Car routing. Has anyone else experienced this problem and does anyone have a solution?

iOS 17.3 CarPlay no longer shows route details Since taking the latest iOS upgrade my Apple Maps is unusable for a long drive. Within London it’s fine but my 50 mile drive from Oxfordshire to London only shows a small squiggly line on the whole of the south east of the UK - CarPlay can read me directions but I cannot glance at where I’m supposed to be going. I tried shutting down the app, ending the route, restarting, unplugging the iPhone and plugging back in - still doesn’t work. Drove home using waze 😠

CarPlay navigation apps not working after latest IOS 17.4.1 update After the IOS 17.4.1 update, when I use navigation maps through CarPlay, the location services seems to get thrown off. It starts off working properly, but somewhere along the way while I’m driving, it shows I’m off course and thinks I’m on other roads or in fields, etc. I have tried searching forums and gone through related troubleshooting, but still haven’t found a fix. Anyone else having this issue? Thoughts on a fix?
