trackpad unresponsive - MacBook Pro 14 M3

I Opened my computer 2 days ago and the trackpad simply isn't responding. No mouse movement, no click, not even the physical sensation that you can click it. In system preferences the trackpad options aren't displayed.

I have deleted the plist files and restarted. I haven't tried a SMC reboot as I can't find the correct way to do this. I'm running the latest software.

What else can I try please?

thank you for your help. I have fault code PPP020 and NDR006

Is there anything I can do to fix these at home, or do I need to go to an apple shop?

Many thanks for your help

this is simply <PPP020> - No power adapter was detected.

here <NDR006> issue with the trackpad.
