At night when I place my iPhone on the MagSafe charger it makes an annoying boing noise that wakes my wife! I’ve tried switching off system haptics and don’t want to put my phone on silent as I may get a call from my elderly parents!
please help!

Seems easy enough to put it on Silent, connect to charger, turn off silent mode(?)

I agree that would work but it's not ideal doing the switch etc in the dark! Surely a design fault if it can't be silenced without some sort of compromise work around! Flicking to camera then off camera seems to work too. Another compromise!
