OneDrive on iOS 17 Camera Upload feature is "Setting Things Up" forever

That being said, for the last few years, I've not been able to get OneDrive working in a responsive way on iOS. As a tech, this is unacceptable. The Camera Upload feature, once setup, says "Setting Things Up" forever. After ages of sitting on that screen, it sometimes goes away, but the moment you close it or take a photo, it's back to square one.

What I expect is for this to work in the same way it does on literally any other device. I take a photo, OneDrive uploads it in the back-end, and I can see the photo I just took instantly on my desktop - synced via the OneDrive cloud service.

I'd like to know if this is just me, so please let me know if you've experienced the same.
