I do not have an Apple device, but I do have 2FA enabled via text message or email. Yet every 1-2 days, when i login to AppleTV, it says my account is locked. So i have to do 2FA and reset the password. Any idea why this is happening?
Could it be that someone else has been unsuccessfully trying to sign in for your account? That would lock an account until it is verified.
I haven't had any emails or notifications to say someone is trying to login to my account. I asked apple support they just said it could happen if you (or someone else) tried to login unsuccessfully. It seems odd this has been an on going issue for at least 2 years. It's consistent so if that is what's happening then it must be a bot doing it.
