My emoji's from Touch Bar has disappeared on my MacBook Pro

I lost the emoji's on my Touch Bar on my MacBook Pro. I have checked settings, restarted my Mac and updated and still no emoji's.

The Emoji button on the Touch Bar only shows when a text field is selected, i.e. when you’re typing anywhere. The Touch Bar is contextual.

Else you may also access emojis through the Input menu (Show Emoji & Symbols) in the Menu bar along the top of the screen.

If you do not have that, then activate it through

  • System Settings﹥Keyboard﹥Text Input﹥Edit﹥[All Input Sources]﹥Show Input menu in menu bar﹥.
