Nope, but what you can do is after backing up just re-install Mac OS from the Recovery Partition. This type of re-install does NOT affect your data or settings, it simply re-installs missing or damaged parts of Mac OS due to user goofs. The reason to backup first to safeguard your data in the extremely rare event you have a problem with the re-install of Mac OS. Also, if you are not already backing up, please begin using Time Machine ASAP!!!!!! Operating any computer without a sound backup plan is a 100% guarantee you will lose irreplaceable data.
