How to unlock Oxygen Level on Apple Watch Ultra 2?

It's crazy that I bought an Ultra 2 in Boston in March and nobody says these new watches are sold without Oxygen Level.

I live in Italy not in the US and it's crazy that there isn't a solution to unlock it (I hike very quickly and used to go over 3000m) this function is so important to me.

All other Apple products, like iPhone, MacBook and AirPods, are signed with an Italian account and located in Italy for most of the year.

Does someone know a possible solution?

The Apple Watch was imported into the U.S. The O2 sensor restriction (band) was on the "Import", so those Apple Watches have a specific U.S. model number and the Apple Watch software looks at the model number.

The fact that you did a secondary imported to Italy does not change the fact that it is a U.S. Apple Watch with an import band applied to it.

The only solution is to buy an Apple Watch in the EU, not the U.S.

It is not the region that your watch is set to that determines whether it will support Blood Oxygen, it is the country that the watch was imported too. If you have a watch that was imported into the US, it will not have that feature no matter where you intend on using it.

Yes of course… but when I bought it now one told me that…and using the watch in UE no patents are infringed considering that that this is a software limitation not a hardware limitation
