this browser is not supported

I am on my iPadPro.

I was on the web and this message came up : this browser is not supported ... I have the latest version available ... what the heck is going on?

iPad Pro, iPadOS 17

Assuming you’re using Safari …

The website you are attempting to access may not support a mobile browser. Tap the “AA” shown here and choose “Request Desktop Website” from the resulting drop down.

Likely whatever website you were in misidentified the browser and issues the error by mistake or does not actually support the iPad's Safari browser.

You can always use a different one, like Firefox, Edge, Brave etc... downloadable from the App Store.
