Why whenever I download a file on my apple ipad air, the words on each PowerPoint slides are always mixed up and are not arranged neatly? What can I do to fix this issue?

Are you opening these PP presos in PowerPoint, or in another app? If you're using PowerPoint, that may be an issue with the fonts, even with the same name, not matching exactly between devices (this can happen between any two devices, even sometimes between different versions of the same OS). You may need to change the fonts in the presentation - if a theme was used choosing a different theme may help - to get things to look better.
It's probable that the same issue applies if you're opening the slides in another app, but if you post which app you're using, someone may be able to offer additional suggestions.

If it's being displayed by Canvas, then it's probably their issue. It still may be an issue with divergent fonts, but it may be something you'll need to discuss with Canvas Support. Alternatively, you can try downloading and opening the presentation in PowerPoint, if your school makes that available to you, or with Keynote, and see if it displays more accurately.
