FaceTime audio cuts out and hasn’t been fixed for 3-4 generations now!!!!
FaceTime audio cuts out the voice of the person speaking if there is some background noise (let’s say fan, traffic, etc) and has happened with me and multiple people I have called on FaceTime and is very annoying. It has been a persistent issue since a few years now and I’m perplexed that there is no fix for this. It is clearly an issue with the voice isolation/noice cancellation and independent of the network and I’ve had a 12 pro and 14 pro and it’s the same exact issue irrespective of the network used or the mic setting for the calls (standard/voice isolation/spectrum)
It is absolutely appalling to me how Apple hasn’t fixed this yet over multiple generations of hardware.
It happens independent of device type - I’ve had the same issue when using FT with a person on phone or iPad.
The only thing that has worked is for the person to move to a quiet environment and that’s impractical and absolutely unacceptable for a flagship phone that costs over 1000$!
