I'm unable to type special characters in password field on my MacBook Pro

This issue is true for BigSur and Ventura 13.6.9!

This post is to report a bug.

I do not need help.

I fixed the problem with a new password without "@" character in.

When installing my new (but old model) Macbook Pro 13" 2017 (second hand computer), I have chosen the same password as my old machine (in the initialization process) and it is working.

Then, after a while, the screen has locked out.

I tried to wake up my machine and typed my correct and usual password; surprise, the "@" character is not accepted in the password field! When you press the key, the character is not added to your characters string!

This special character is accepted when changing the password (in Settings). It is also accepted when starting the computer but not after locking the session.
