Always start with the Uninstaller provided by the developer. If you cannot find it, then refer to the Developers website for instructions on uninstalling. After that it is likely that some files will still remain. The best way to see if there are still files being launched on your computer is by posting the free EtreCheck report. This report does not contain any personal information, but will show if there are any Sophos files still in your System folders.

What happened when you tried the uninstaller?

UNINSTALL FAILED

What method was used to use the uninstaller?

THE SOPHOS UNINSTALLER

How/why did you attempt to use TextEdit to uninstall?

I READ ABOUT IT ON THE WEB

Did you install the software or is it being managed by a company?

YES I INNSTALLED IT.

Proceed to the EtreCheck report so we understand which files will need to be removed.

Removing such apps is difficult because the makers of the apps do not want their app removed. What trouble are you having specifically? Never install third party apps that claim to protect, clean, manage, etc. They use system resources while providing no benefit. How are you trying to remove the app?
