Putting a reminder alert on my phone

I want to put an alert on my phone regarding an event. Can you tell me if this is possible?

adding a new alert time to the iPhone calendar I want to create a 12 hour alert and an 18 hour alert so that I get alerted for calendar items the evening before something happens early the next day. Is there a way to add alert times to the iPhone list?

iPhone Reminders asks to allow alarms on other iPhone I have 2 iPhones. My primary phone constantly pops up message when using reminder that says I need to allow alarms on other phone.

You can put the event into the Calendar app and set an alert.
