How to open a pdf in iBooks?
when I try to open a PDF in iBooks it opens in Adobe. i would pdf in iBooks to open in iBooks. I just purchased a new Mac Pro and it did not happen in my other Mac

Drag the book onto Books app, launch Books, and read the PDF there.
Or open the Books app, and import the PDF from there.

Here is how to wrest control pf the PDF dile type back from the Adobe app:

You can also alternate-click on a file, and select which app you want to open an app.
Usual app used for reading PDF files is the built-in Preview app.
