I want to look at the actual files in the 'My Templates' section of the Template Chooser on the current version of pages. I want to do this to see what dates they were created - I don't know another way of finding this out.
Despite a lot of searching using Spotlight, looking at the Contents of the Pages app etc, I simply can't find them. I'm on an Intel iMac using MacOS Sonoma 14.6.1

In Finder, click shift+cmd+G and copy/paste the following into that window followed by a return:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.iWork.Pages/Data/Library/Application Support/User Templates
That will open a new Finder Window revealing your saved Pages templates as shown in the Pages Template Chooser's My Templates.

My own researches led to my looking for 'Containers' in the Library but for some reason I couldn't see it. In fact, if I try to go up a level from your link, I get to Application Support, which doesn't show 'Containers'. Perhaps this is a choice connected with the Finder or Spotlight, although I see nothing relevant in Finder Preferences.
Anyway I got what I wanted, so thanks again.
So, 'Containers' is a directory in each user's Library, not within Application Support. The only mystery that remains is why my Spotlight search can't find it (it can find other folders with that name, but they belong in old data and don't seem relevant.)

Each application container has an Application Support folder within its own Library folder. Do not confuse that with the /Users/username/Library/Application Support folder.
