When you have a second display connected you can send any window, from within any software, to the second display via a menu option that appears only when you have a second display connected. But when you send a window to this second display, the window disappears! If you drag it's ok, it goes there and stays, but if you use the "move to xxxxxx display" then it just disappears.
Anybody has a solution for this?

SOLVED! It is the "Displays have separate Spaces" option. When checked the finder menu appears on both displays, which is good, but when sending any window to the other display it seems to be sent to out of the screen. Unchecked this option and it stopped the problem. No finder menu on booth sides though.

Start with this if IntelMac...
Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode? Could take 10 minutes or more.
Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches & loads safe Drivers, & prevents loading of 3rd party extensions, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.
To find out if it's system wide or user specific, try this...
Open System Preferences>Users & Groups, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.
Does it work in the new account?

I have no problem using multiple displays with all of the Mission Control boxes unchecked.
Then if you are still having issues with window placement, check your Display Arrangement.
I wonder what your Mission Control Settings Prefs are?
It didn't change anything. To be clearer, the window kind of goes outside the other monitor. And if I have a window opened on the second monitor and send it to the integrated monitor (macbook) it also disapears, moving what it seems to bem to outside the screen.
These are my settings. Any conflict?
Try unchecking the top 2 for a test.
