App asking for photo permissions but not showing up

Hi! i’m trying to use the polaroid mint app for my mint printer and it is asking for photo access. Every time i click grant photo access it takes me to settings where photos do not appear. I have already tried going into privacy and security to change it there but the app does not show up in photos. any suggestions? i know the app itself is very glitchy but i still want to see if it can work.
