hi, I imported in final cut pro(10.8.1) a video shot with my iphone 15 pro max in hdr 4k. When i try to export the video in HEVC(10bit, HLG) the maximum resolution is only 1080. The only way to export the video maintaining the 4k is to use the .h264 format (that is not compatibile with HDR.
Why? is there a solution? i tried with different hdr 4k videos shot with mi iphone but is always the same

it doesn't change, the only way to export in 4k is with .h264. Computer, apple devices ecc with HEVC(10bit, HLG) let me export at maximum of 1080p.

this is a video of me trying all the setting with no results... i just uploaded a new video in a new envent and project but nothin canged
I can't reproduce the problem. I have this option in Apple Devices
Try trashing your settings., Hold Opt-Cmd as you match the application.
What OS and FCP versions are you using?
final cut 10.8.1 - sonoma 14.6.1, by th way with horizontal video i have no problem
Now I try to reset final cut settings or reinstall the app
done, setting resetted app reinstalled to be sure, but noting changed
it work only with horizontal video
Where did that Instagram preset come from? Try using Apple Devices 4K.
What are your project settings? Post a screenshot of the project properties. Cmd-J click Modify.
Hold Opt-Cmd as you launch the application.
I don’t know why it’s not working on your system. My screenshot was to l with vertical video and it worked correctly.
