How do I remove widgets from my MacBook Pro?

I cannot go near the right side of my screen without the "Notification center" opening. I dont want a notification center or widgets at all - neither is useful to me and neither has anything in it. How do I uninstall the whole system, not just remove widgets (they're already completely gone)? thank you!

You cannot uninstall the widgets feature, but you can disable calling out the Notifications Center window from the side of the screen.

Start at System Settings > Desktop & Dock.

Scroll to the bottom and find 'Hot Corners...'

Select a no-action ( – ) for the top-right and bottom-right corners.

If the Notification Center bothers you as when you swipe left from the right edge of the screen,

go to System Settings > Trackpad > More Gestures and switch off that Notification Center feature.
