External Monitor C-type not connection

Hi, I just bought a monitor, it's Lenovo P24-h20 and I have a M1 air MacBook. When I connect my monitor to the Mac (using C-type port) it gets recognized by the MacBook and starts charging it, however, the issue I'm facing is that I'm unable to see any display. From my limited knowledge on this issue I believe it is something related to drivers.

Lenovo Support – ThinkVision P24h-20 Monitor - Overview

That's a 23.8" monitor with a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels. It has USB-C, DisplayPort, and HDMI inputs. I would suggest using the controls on the monitor to switch between inputs, just in case it is trying to display a signal from the DisplayPort input or the HDMI input, and is not auto-switching to the USB-C one.

All of the drivers seem to be for Windows, so if there's any special feature that they support, you may be out of luck with respect to it. But I would expect the monitor to be recognized by, and work with the Mac.
