Pages won't let me open any of my files
pages won't let me open any of my files and it says I need to up date the pages app but there is no update for it and my MacBook Air is up to date.

You are still on macOS Monterey, correct?
In a Finder Window, click on Applications in the sidebar, locate Pages, click on it once, and then press option+cmd+i to open an information panel. What version is shown for the Pages application?
Are the files that you are attempting to open on your local drive, or elsewhere?
