How to secure my Device from accidental app purchases?

Its been a couple of days since my 9 years old accidentally bought something in a game that he plays on my phone when I leave it to him to play with, a pop up of purchase came out to him and he thought he could dodge it by double clicking the side button which is a gateway to my saved credit card of course, I have his face recognized on my security FaceID measures due to the fact that he always likes to play games on my phone, However upon noticing the charges I immediately reached out to Apple Support in hope for a solution, I live in Egypt and $200 is a sum amount of money, I thought there was hope as I was able to submit a refund request, however it was denied, I reached out to support again and they disputed it, however it was denied again, my question is how such a large company like Apple doesn't care about their customer experience in such a way? How do they allow such charge and run pop ups that come by surprise in the middle of an app, relying on the poor reflex of the user hoping they would score, this is pure manipulation from the third party app, I am severely disappointed and affected by the fact that Apple knows such pop ups exists in some Apps, specially the game ones and they don't help you get your money back, even if it's obvious that it's a manipulative behavior from the apps

Thats exactly how Im responsible for letting my child play his games on my phone without the fear of shady developers putting purchase pop ups in every section of the app.

Take a close look at the games you are allowing your child to play. If you see purchase pop-ups, then you will know to remove those games and not allow your child to play them. I also strongly advise you to follow the advice Jeff Donald offered. Also, the thing to remember with most app purchases and downloads is that all sales are final.

You are who is in charge of your Apple Account.

You are who has allowed your child access to your device and your Apple Account.

You are who authorized placing the 3rd party app on your device and gave your child access to the app.

You are responsible for everything that your child does with your device and your Apple Account which you gave the child access to!

This is a user-to-user tech support forum. The tech advice is that if you don't want this to happen again in the future, lock down your device and only give your child limited access to its use!
