New MacStudio not showing under location in finder

Hi, I am trying to list my new MacStudio (OS 14.6.1) on my network under "location" and not just "network" in my finder window in the Imac (OS 13.6.9) for easy access. For some reason dragging it from "network" to "location" does not work. All the sharing prefs seem to be enabled correctly and I can remote into it from the Imac. Any ideas on what settings I might be missing? Thanks, Olaf.

the items listed in the location section are names of locally-connected Drives.

Your new Mac is, by design, shown under the Network item, and you will not be able to change it into a direct Location item.

Hi - thanks for the answer. Got it now - once I mounted the HD of that MacStudio on my iMac, it does now appear on my locations. Thanks!
