Can I use a recover contact if i have recovery key enabled?
I enabled recovery key on my account, took a screenshot and uploaded it to my Dropbox but now I’m having trouble logging in to both. Did I possibly get locked out?

If you don’t have your Recovery Key, Recovery Contact or a trusted device signed into your Apple ID, you’ll be permanently locked out. If you do have a trusted device signed into your Apple ID, you can request a new recovery key.
If you did set up a Recovery Contact, you can get back into your account that way too ⇢

Keep in mind, when you enabled the recovery key on your Apple ID, you are turning off Apple’s standard account recovery process. The best option to save your recovery key is to write it down, saving it with another login site is not a good idea, as you may get locked out of that account too.
