I've had my gray stretch apple watch band for under a year. I noticed today after working in my yard that an elastic thread in the band has been snagged causing a loop of material to hang off the band. Is this covered in my limited warranty? The band has functioned very well otherwise.

Most likely not as the limited warranty only covers manufacturing defects. However, if you still want to pursue this as a defect, you will need to have an Apple Technician examine the band. Should they concur, then you may find that you can get a replacement for little or no cost to you.
