My Dock is not showing up on my MAC. Happened after an update.

When I turn on computer there is no Dock appearing even though I clicked all sides and bottom. Had no problem until I received an update from Apple. My computer is MACOS SONOMA 14.6

iMac 21.5″, macOS 14.6

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode? Could take 10 minutes or more.

Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches & loads safe Drivers, & prevents loading of 3rd party extensions, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.
