Why is notes taking up so much iPhone storage? How do i find individual 'Notes' file sizes?

Hello. My apple Notes app is taking up 52GB of the 128GB available on my iPhone storage. I use iCloud for my Notes default a/c! (my only a/c, I don't store notes on the iPhone or have an iPhone notes a/c). I have a 2TB iCloud storage a/c and have 1TB of storage left. There is no reason for it to take up this much space on my iPhone storage. Does anyone know of a way to find out individual 'Notes' file sizes? or whats happening here. Please screen grab images from my iphone, attached. Many thanks in advance.
