Can't see updated status of account recovery

I've requested an account recovery and after 2 days, apple sent me an email of when they would send me the instructions on a specific date. Now, I wanted to view the updated status on the iforgot site, but the problem is, it's asking me the same process and questions to create a new account recovery request. With that I can't view the status of my account recovery progress. What do I do?
