I recently applied to trade in my iPad for £60 and purchased a pair of earphones and a charger by credit card, thinking that the sum paid (£40) would be deducted from my gift card back to my credit card. I can’t see how to make this happen? Does anyone know? Thank you
Apple Gift cards cannot be applied as a credit or debit card payment. Apple Gift cards are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Thanks, I think I misread it as if I had made a purchase and applied for the trade in as the same time (for a bigger item), the credit would have been applied ! My own fault for being impatient and not reading the small print fully. Now I need to find something else to buy :)
