Go to the Home Screen with the Camera app icon, press and hold the Camera app icon.
Eventually, all the icons start jiggling, and a "-" sign appears next to each one.
Now keep pressing on the Camera app icon to rearrange it or "slide" it to a different Home screen, or drop it into a group like the "Utilities" or some such. This will at least move it off you main Home screen.
If you drop it onto another app, it will make a new group with the two of them in it. You can always drag them out again.
If you want to delete it, tap the "-", and you get three options:
1. "Delete app" (which you can always download again).
2. "Remove From Home Screen" (which merely removes the icon, and the app is still installed so you can still use it from, say, the Lock Screen)
3. "Cancel"
