I'm sure you'll manage to adjust. Apple owns iOS, not us. They can change anything in iOS they want. This new icon isn't really all that new. Several years ago, they use an icon much like the new one. And somehow we all managed to go on with our lives.

You aren't writing anyone at Apple. This is a user to user only forum. As users only, we have no control over how any of the icons look.

It's only a one page thread. Had you read past the first post, you'd know this and you'd also see how to share your feedback with Apple directly. Use the link already provided.

To be honest, this was the first attempt to creating a custom iOS icon (I only had an idea when I stumbled upon this post).

on you tube, I found out how to change back to the old icons in ios26, so they were like os 18.

but to my dismay and frustration, this method did NOT change the camera icon back, using the custom setting from the edit button. I tried taking it out of the menu bar but that made no difference. Is it true that there is No way to get rid of the cyborg eye camera icon? Surely there is by now. Or how do you replace it with a self made icon? Maybe my coder son could do this…

it should be possible to change an icon to a different one that you created? Please, I do notwant to look at the uglycamera lens cyborg…
