I have the transcripts turned on so I don't usually have a need to listen to the actual voicemail. Why isn't (or is there?) a way to mark as heard or whatever you want to call it to clear the alert so I don't think I still have one? I just want to check it off or if even just opening it to the transcript would mark it but doesn't. This seems like a simple thing that should be obvious.

Yea it’s completely dumb. No Read All. No More. No Read option at all. You MUST still, even into iOS 18, touted to be amazing but I’ve seen nothing special, scrub through the entire recording and let it end all by itself. Stopping it anywhere mid play will leave it unread and there no way around it.

This feature does not exist, but it should. iPhone voicemail needs a total overhaul. That impossibly tiny seek bar — makes it very hard to skip through the messages. No reason why it shouldn’t operate like an email/message inbox. Apple, please make the PHONE part of your phone work smoothly.
