I create a presentation on my Lap top but when I connect a TV and use present in full screen the TV displays the presenter notes as well as the slide .

Do you have your system set to mirror displays? in that case, the system acts as if there's a single display and mirrors content.
Check System Settings -> Displays to check your setup, and switch to Extended Desktop if needs be.
Then within Keynote, Choose Play -> Customize Presenter Display to control which content is visible on each screen.
