iPhone 12 Mini glitchy after 17.6.1 update

My iPhone 12 Mini updated with the latest software on 9/1/24 overnight. Today I did not receive a text from an android phone. That person texted another iPhone in my household (SE) and this was received. I texted the android phone and that was received and replied to and I received the reply but not the original message.

Problem 2 - did not receive text notifications on my iWatch from my iPhone today (9/4)

not all received texts make a sound iPhone XR, some texts ding our phones, and haptic our watches (version 8's), others do not. We have iMessage on on both, sounds and haptics are on. Odd that some notify us, some don't , even from the same person. We have a text cell number pinned for each of us that we use to address the texts, for our two cell numbers. We also cannot tell which of the two pinned threads a text will arrive in, hers or mine. Tried addressing to both, still a problem. We must constantly check visually for new texts, rather than being notified of incoming traffic.

iPhone 13 Message Notications Not Working Wife's IP 13 has all updates, notification settings all gone over many times, still not receiving notifications consistantly, mostly not at all. Her Apple Watch does report the notifications. The volume for the notifications she does receive is very low. I see this has been reported by many for quite a while? Is Apple going to do anything about this?

Since iOS 17, I can’t get message notifications on my iPhone Up until I had this iPhone 15 pro max. I was getting text message pings on my watch and iPhone. No problems at all. Now since IOS 17 I can’t get message notifications on my phone. Apparently by design. Not a good idea Apple. My solution is I no longer wear an Apple Watch. [Re-Titled by Moderator]
